Titanic II is a TV movie and a direct-to-DVD disaster film by The Asylum, that was released on August 24, 2010, in the United States. Contrary to popular opinion, the film is not a sequel to the 1997 film by James Cameron, although movie website Dread Central has suggested the film may be a mockbuster of it, which is to be re-released in 2012 to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the sinking of the original ship. It was released Direct-to-TV in Australia on August 7, 2010. It premiered on SyFy on Sky Digital in the UK and Ireland on August 9, 2010.
